"Our guide Aharon Yahav was extremely knowledgeable. He was both an historian and archeologist. We met a lot of very nice people from all around the world in our tour group. He had some wonderful stories and was full of facts and information. Our hotels throughout the trip were fabulous. The Dan Panaroma hotels in Israel are top notch. I also enjoyed the Kibbutz. We totally loved our tour. It hit all the high spots. The Dead Sea and Masada were great to see, and we were surprised with the various topography of the country. I would recommend that tour to anyone who wanted to visit Israel. We also felt totally safe the entire time we were there. Each evening we would go out on our own and just walk and walk. Our last day, we walked from our hotel to the old walled city of Jerusalem and had a wonderful time..."

We we'll pass by the house of Simon the Tanner and marvel at the views from the hill top. Than we drive up north along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caesar. From there we go on to visit Megiddo where the book of Revelation mentions a great battle at the place called "Armageddon". It is an ancient city inhabited continuously for more than five millennia (6000-500 B.C.). After exploring the ancient ruins we'll drive toward the Sea of Galilee, Arrive at Tiberias and check-in to your hotel.
Day 4 - Sea of Galilee
Start the day from historic Tiberias, where Jesus lived, sojourned, and preached on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Our next destination will be Capernaum, the center of Jesus ministry. Tabgha, just north of Tiberias, is the site of Christ's miracle of feeding the 5,000 and at the Church of Multiplication the mosaic floor depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes. We drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea, where Jesus preached the "Sermon on the Mount" and it is believed that Jesus picked his 12 apostles.
We'll ascend to the Golan Heights to view the panoramic view of the peaks of Mt. Hermon and the rugged plateau of the Golan Heights, and beneath it the green pastoral Huleh valley. Return to Tiberias for another lovely night in town.
Day 5 - Sea of Galilee / Jordan River / Jerusalem
This morning we travel to Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. We proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood, and the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where archaeologists believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. You'll also see Mary's Well and Joseph's Church. Continue through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman City which was destroyed in an earthquake and then onward to Jerusalem, where you check-in to your choice of hotel.
Day 6 - Dead Sea & Masada
Through remarkable scenery of the Dead Sea we'll continue to Masada which is situated right on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod's palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route to the Dead Sea, you'll see the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth's surface. Bring your swimsuit as if weather permit's its possible to "float" on the salty , mineral rich, water . Return to Jerusalem for an overnight.
Day 7 - Jerusalem
Start the day at Mt' Scopus. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Jerusalem. The holy city for each of the world's three great religions - Christianity, Judaism and Islam - Jerusalem occupies a unique place in the world. Your tour includes the Mount of Olives, a stop at the site where Jesus first gave the Lord's Prayer, and the Garden of Gethsemane where Judas betrayed Jesus. In the Old City you'll see the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. To the southwest, just outside the Old City, is Mount Zion, with the traditional tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Return to hotel.

Visit the Israel Museum with a detailed model of Jerusalem from the time of the Second Temple and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive by the Knesset (House of Parliament) and the campus of Hebrew University. If situation permitting, we might visit Bethlehem to see Rachel's Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Temperatures during the summertime hit the high 80s on a regular basis, so dress sensibly: natural fibers are recommended, and a hat, sunglasses and sunblock are essential. In the evenings, a light jacket or cardigan is a good idea if you're visiting in higher elevations such as Jerusalem.
Late autumn through early spring, plan to "dress like an onion". Layers that can be peeled off (or added back on) as the day or evening progresses are always a good bet.
At all times of the year, bring head coverings for protection against the sun (and the requisite sunglasses and sunblock--don't say we didn't warn you), comfortable walking shoes, and a bathing suit.
PLEASE NOTE: It's imperative to dress moderately if you plan to visit observant areas or religious sites. For women, this usually means a head covering, long sleeves, and a skirt at least mid-calf in length. For men, trousers and a short-sleeved shirt are customary.
No tip is expected for taxi rides; a 10% tip in restaurants is considered "correct", with 15% or 20% given for superior service. Convention dictates that you tip your tour guide and coach driver at the end of your visit. Hotel rates include a service charge, though tips are usually given to porters, maids, waiters and front desk staff.

For the many years that we have been organizing tours, safety and security have always been our number-one priorities. We review our itineraries on a daily basis and maintain ongoing contact with government and security offices to ensure that our groups are safe and our destinations secure. While you may be concerned about travel during the sometimes volatile periods in Israel, you can be certain that we take every safety and security precaution necessary for our clients.
In addition to refraining from entering unsafe areas, we never intentionally bring groups to any site or region that we feel is unsafe. Our Israel tours do not travel to Gaza. All of our guides carry cell phones, and we would not hesitate to move groups at a moment's notice. We use private bus companies, and instruct our participants to stay away from public transportation. Medics and security guards are also available at an additional cost.

Israel enjoys long, warm, dry summers (April-October) and generally mild winters (November-March) with somewhat drier, cooler weather in hilly regions, such as Jerusalem and Safed. Rainfall is relatively heavy in the north and center of the country, with much less in the northern Negev and almost negligible amounts in the southern areas.
Regional conditions vary considerably, with humid summers and mild winters on the coast; dry summers and moderately cold winters in the hill regions; hot dry summers and pleasant winters in the Jordan Valley; and year-round semi-desert conditions in the Negev.
Weather extremes range from occasional winter snowfall in the mountain regions to periodic oppressively hot dry winds that send temperatures soaring, particularly in spring and autumn.

Israel's official languages are Hebrew and Arabic, with English spoken by most of the population.

The tour includes daily breakfast and dinner at your hotel throughout the trip. We will provide you with options to stop at local restaurants enroute our daily sightseeing trips.
